Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Erie, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.
Position Overview:
• Assist the Head Professional with all club events & managing staff.
• Monday Event Coordinator.
• Provide Lessons and Fittings.
• Proficient in Golf Genius, ForeTees, & GHIN.
• Proficient in the Rules of Golf.
• Encourage members to sign up for events early.
• Make sure all members who play in events have been charged.
• Help keep shop neat and clean.
• Manage the counter and ring up sales.
• Aid in teaching clinics.
• Help keep back office and inventory neat and clean.
• Spread hospitality and good will among all members and guests.
• Perform in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Kahkwa Golf Shop.
• Attend seminars and PGA workshops (continued education).
• Play with membership when possible.
• Attend spring and fall section meetings.
• Play in tournaments when the opportunity presents itself.
Requirements
A Class A PGA Professional, or an individual on track to achieve Class A PGA Membership in the near future.
Compensation
$40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year.
