New Gateways, Inc. is looking for caring, dependable individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers . In this role, you will support adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a structured day program setting, helping them build independence, confidence, and meaningful connections. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and wants to make a positive impact every day.
As a Direct Care Worker, you’ll be part of a supportive, mission-driven team that prioritizes dignity, safety, and growth for the people we serve. We provide consistent daytime hours, strong benefits, and opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the organization.
Monday–Friday daytime schedule (8:00 AM–3:00 PM)
$16.00/hour starting pay

Assist adults with daily living skills and personal care

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
Comfort assisting with adult total personal care
