The Executive Director will lead efforts to activate the new company-wide corporate narrative, elevating Novartis’s reputation as a leader in breakthrough innovation. This role will ensure our purpose—Reimagining Medicine to improve and extend people’s lives—and our values of Inspired, Curious, and Unbossed are communicated effectively across all audiences.
Aligned with our corporate strategy and brand, this leader will design and implement a connected, multi-channel storytelling and thought-leadership approach to engage priority internal and external stakeholders globally. A key responsibility will be to mobilize the Corporate Affairs organization as ambassadors for the narrative, driving consistent activation across the enterprise. In addition, the Executive Director will oversee high-impact special communications projects that are critical to shaping and protecting the company’s reputation.Key Responsibilities:

The salary for this position is expected to range between $214,900 and $399,100 per year. The final salary offered is determined based on factors like, but not limited to, relevant skills and experience, and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically. Novartis may change the published salary range based on company and market factors. Your compensation will include a performance-based cash incentive and, depending on the level of the role, eligibility to be considered for annual equity awards. US-based eligible employees will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, life and disability benefits, a 401(k) with company contribution and match, and a variety of other benefits. In addition, employees are eligible for a generous time off package including vacation, personal days, holidays and other leaves.
