Job Title: General Laborer

Employee Type: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt

Reports to: Project Manager/Superintendent

Schedule: Monday-Friday Overtime on Evenings and weekends if needed

Location: Desoto, KS

RSI's personnel are trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and maintain their annual eight-hour updates. RSI mobilizes its own work force to provide remedial construction services. RSI based in Independence, KS, is a premier nationwide contractor supplying innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex environmental remediation challenge.

Summary

Remediation Services is currently seeking a highly motivated General Laborer looking to work for a progressive, fast-growing company.

Duties/Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site specific safety plan when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear.
• Performs tasks associated with processing Non-Hazardous Waste.
• Operates light and heavy equipment including: skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts and pressure washers.
• Wear a respirator as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to operate light and heavy equipment
• Hazwoper 40 hour certified. (will provide training).
• Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
• Willingness to shave and wear respirator as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team environment critical.

Education and Experience

• Six (6) months of previous labor experience

Physical/Environment Requirements

• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces and at heights.
