Medical Director (DVM) – Southfield, MI

A well-established small animal hospital in Southfield, Michigan is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead its veterinary team and elevate the standard of patient care. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with strong leadership skills and a passion for mentorship, medicine, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support veterinarians and support staff in all aspects of medical care


• Develop, implement, and uphold high-quality medical standards and protocols


• Perform a variety of surgical and diagnostic procedures


• Foster strong, trusting relationships with clients and their pets


• Contribute to a positive and cohesive team environment

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent


• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Michigan


• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire veterinary teams


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development
