Salary: $60,000 - 115,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a proven background as a Network Engineer or a comparable position in IT networking. You should possess strong knowledge of IP networking principles and protocols, along with familiarity with Cisco IOS. Experience with DHCP configuration and management is essential, along with a solid understanding of network security standards. Proficiency with monitoring tools like PRTG for assessing performance is necessary, and knowledge in QoS techniques for managing bandwidth effectively is preferred. Experience with APIs for system integration would be an advantage. We seek strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, I will need you to design, implement, and manage network solutions that align with our organizational demands. You'll monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using tools like PRTG. Configuring and maintaining DHCP services for efficient IP address management will be part of your responsibilities. I will depend on you to enhance network security through best practices and ongoing vulnerability assessments. You will also develop and maintain documentation concerning network configurations, policies, and procedures. Optimizing Quality of Service (QoS) settings to prioritize critical applications and performing regular updates and maintenance on operating systems, including Cisco, Fortinet, and HP, is expected. I also encourage you to utilize shell scripting for automating routine tasks and processes and to stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the industry to suggest improvements.
