Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Ocean Beach Health is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our close-knit rehabilitation team. What You'll Need

• Education: Graduate of an accredited PTA program

• Licensure: Current Washington State PTA license

• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (required within 6 months of hire)

• Experience: One year in a clinical healthcare setting preferred

• Tech-Savvy: Epic experience a plus

What You'll Do

As a PTA, you'll work alongside physical therapists to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering hands-on therapy and guiding rehabilitation exercises

• Supporting patients and families with education and encouragement

• Assisting with infection control and patient safety practices

• Collaborating with physical therapists on treatment plans and progress

• Contributing to community outreach and wellness initiatives
