We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4 Hana project manager to join our team in
Germany. The ideal candidate will have excellent command over English and German
language along side a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative
SAP solutions. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into scalable
SAP architectures, ensuring seamless integration with other systems, and driving the
success of finance transformation projects. This role involves the management of
evaluating the current SAP ECC landscape, identifying key integration points with other
applications, understanding localization, performing a gap analysis between current
state and the existing global common template and developing a roadmap for the
transition to S/4HANA.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, SAP expertise, fluency
in English, and experience managing SAP upgrades in Europe.
Responsibilities:
Lead the discovery phase of the SAP ECC to S/4HANA upgrade, working closely
with business and IT stakeholders in Europe and aligning with global teams.
Manage the following key discovery activities to completion
Assess the current SAP ECC system, including custom developments,
localizations, integrations, and third-party applications specific to the Latin
American market.
Conduct a fit-gap analysis against the global S/4HANA template and define the
migration approach.
Address European-specific financial, tax, and regulatory compliance
requirements within SAP.
Engage with functional and technical teams to evaluate data migration, process
standardization, and automation opportunities.
Provide recommendations on system consolidation, simplifications, and
adoption of SAP best practices.
Develop a comprehensive project plan, including scope, timeline, resources,
and risk assessment.
Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to identify business process impacts
and required changes.
Oversee the creation of an S/4HANA business case, including benefits, cost
estimates, and implementation approach.
Ensure alignment with SAP Activate methodology and Europe-specific SAP
implementation challenges.
Manage vendor engagement, external consultants, and SAP partners as
required.
Present findings, recommendations, and roadmaps to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
10+ years of SAP project management experience, with at least 3+ years in
S/4HANA upgrade or implementation projects.
Current/Previous experience managing SAP FICO related projects at a
national/global scale.
Must have experience with Assessments, implementations & Roll outs.
Ability to grow the project/program will be a Plus.
Strong Technical and functional understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA
functionalities, architecture, and migration strategies.
Experience with performing discovery, assessment, and roadmap planning for
SAP transformations.
Hands-on experience with SAP Activate, Fit-to-Standard assessments, and data
migration strategies.
Proven experience managing SAP upgrades and rollouts in Europe, including
knowledge of regional compliance, tax, and localization requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to
interact with senior executives.
PMP, Agile, or SAP certification is a plus.
Experience working in a global, multi-entity environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of change management and business transformation
principles.
Experience with global template rollouts and harmonization strategies.
